Jean Robert St. Hilaire has been very busy lately, not in Haiti or the Dominican Republic, but in Canada and New York. Two new Haitian churches have been established in these places with graduates from our school of preaching in Port au Prince. As Haiti has become increasingly dangerous, causing the State Department to order all non-essential personnel out of the country and increased kidnappings, the gospel is spreading elsewhere. The churches in Haiti are also doing well. It is simply more complicated for us to travel within Haiti. The brother at the center of this movement of new Haitian churches is one of the greatest evangelists of the past 40 years, Jean Robert St. Hilaire.
