Brother Kennedy attended some teaching sessions Rod Myers conducted in Joshua Village in 2019. Subsequently, he returned to his home several miles from Oyugis and planted the Nyagekoboko Church of Christ. CMI does not have an ongoing financial relationship with this church, but there are times when special needs arise. For example, recently, Brother Kennedy traveled to Busia, Kenya, near the Uganda border, and helped plant a new church there. We arranged with Brother Julius of Kisumu to have these new Christians take the World Bible School courses to help ground them in living the Christian life and carrying on the church's work. We also supplied some Bibles for the new Christians there.
Rod looks forward to seeing Brother Kennedy when he travels to Africa in August/September this year.
